DJ Johno was tremendous and such a lovely guy! His voice was wonderful to listen to and his very versatile. He had us up dancing to some good old classics and we could have gone on all night. As for ‘Dancing on the ceiling’ by Lionel Ritchie (we nearly were!!!) A great selection of songs. Our only negative was that it had to end! Please send both my and Aisha’s thanks to the main man DJ John. We would most definitely book him again for another celebration. A huge thank you!

I just wanted to let you know that although I have been to multiple events where you have performed, the most memorable one was my brother's wedding reception. Each song that you played was a favorite of my brother's, sister-in-law's, or mine.
I had on impossibly high heels, and thought I wouldn't be able to dance at all, but with the music thumping, and the lights bouncing, it was impossible for me to not to be on the dance floor.
The whole night was organized from our part, but there were still glitches that came up that we hadn't anticipated, but you picked up our slack by talking to the crowd, or playing extra music and made sure the guests did not realize any disorder.
My whole family appreciates that you made sure the whole night went smoothly. That is an art that not all DJ's have; their job is not only to play music you like and have flashing lights, it's also to help out their customer when the customer does not know how to solve their problem. It would not have been a perfect night for my family and I, if you had not been there.

We just wanted to write to tell you that we were absolutely delighted by your DJ services at our wedding on November 20, 2007. You did a fantastic job, played exactly right music at exactly right time at exactly the right volume and what impressed us even more is that you were cool as a cucumber the whole time: especially when we got frazzled right before going into the hall. I can't tell you how many people commented on what a great DJ we had.
What I didn't realize before the wedding is how important it is to have a DJ who is cool under pressure and you didn't miss a beat even when things weren't exactly on schedule or got a little hectic. And then, when the crowd asked that you continue to DJ well after the scheduled time ended: you didn't hesitate at all and happily carried on even though it was quite late.
I don't think I have to tell you how picky I was about the music being a rather ridiculous perfectionist and you really exceeded all our expectations. We had some odd music requests: but you handled all of them with ease and it was clear you could read the crowd well. We've already been asked by a number of folks who the DJ at our wedding was. You did a great job and I know we'll be recommending you very highly to all our friends.

My husband and I were pleasantly surprised at how great a DJ J was at our wedding reception. Even though we had never met him prior to that date, he was easily available via phone or Internet, despite having such a busy schedule.
His introductions were fantastic! A lot of our friends are still talking about the excellent way he introduced us. He played a great variety of songs, from Bhangra to hip-hop to Hindi film music. He definitely catered to the diverse crowd we had. At many times during our reception, there wasn't any room to move on the dance floor because it was so packed!!
He even taught all of us a few dance steps, which everyone seemed to enjoy, and he interacted with the guests, instead of simply standing behind the equipment.
He kept our guests entertained the whole time! Many of our friends found the DJ to be the highlight of the reception!

A few weeks before the wedding, we contacted Ultimate Sounds and DJ Johno made time for us to come to his house and look at his music collection. We met a few times before the wedding and went through the entire program with our choice of music and some great suggestions by him.
